How to Split a Stone in GemCloud?

Splitting a stone in GemCloud allows you to create multiple child stones from a single parent stone, ensuring accurate tracking of quantities, weight, and costs. This guide will walk you through the process of splitting a stone in your inventory.

Step 1: Access the Splitting Option

  • Go to My Inventory.
  • Find the stone you want to split and click on the three dots (⋮) on the right side of the stone entry.
  • From the dropdown menu, select Splitting.

Step 2: Add Child Stones

  • A new side window will appear. To add child stones, click Add Row.
  • You can add multiple rows based on how many child stones you want to create from the parent stone.

Step 3: Enter Child Stone Details

  • For each child stone, enter the required details:
    • Quantity
    • Weight
    • Total Cost

Step 4: Manage Remaining Weight

  • If there is any weight remaining after adding the child stones, it will be displayed in red.
    • You can either create additional child stones to allocate the remaining weight, or
    • Leave the remaining weight as is and click Save. The newly created child stones will appear in My Inventory.

Step 5: Archive Parent Stone

  • Regardless of whether there is any remaining weight or not, the parent stone will be moved to the Archive section, and its status will be marked as Transformed.

Notes

Note:

  • After splitting, the parent stone will be archived with the status marked as "Transformed."
  • Any remaining weight must be either allocated to a new child stone or left, in which case it will be archived with the parent stone.

Conclusion

Splitting stones in GemCloud ensures that your inventory remains accurate and up to date by allowing you to track each child stone separately. Following these steps will help you efficiently manage your stone transformations and maintain precise records in your inventory.
