How to Set Sticker/Print Label in GemCloud ERP?
Managing inventory effectively is crucial for any business, especially in industries dealing with valuable items like gemstones. One of the useful features of the GemCloud ERP system is its customizable sticker settings, allowing you to print labels that suit your specific needs. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure and apply sticker settings in GemCloud ERP.
Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Sticker Settings
Step 1: Access Configuration Options
- Navigate to the top right corner of your GemCloud ERP home page.
- Click on the Configuration option.
Step 2: Customize ERP
- In the Configuration menu, go to Customize ERP section.
- Click on Stickers.
- Select Sticker Setting.
- You will be directed to the Sticker Setting page.
- Locate the Column section.
- In the Category option, select your desired category.
- In the Available Column option, choose the columns you wish to display on the sticker.
- The selected columns will appear in the Displayed Column section.
- If you want to print a barcode for the stones, ensure you add the Barcode column.
- Click on Update Sticker Setting to save your configuration.
Step 4: General Settings
- Scroll down to the General section.
- Select the default printing size for the sticker.
- Choose the font size and font family that best suit your needs.
Step 5: Advanced Settings
- In the Advanced settings section, enter the number of labels per page.
- Select the alignment for the stickers.
- Set the margin between stickers, padding inside the sticker (in points), barcode width, barcode height, font weight, and border type.
- Adjust the margins for the top, bottom, right, and left as required.
- After configuring all settings, click on Update Setting.
Step 6: Print Labels
- Go to My Inventory.
- Select the stone for which you want to print a label.
- At the top of the page, click on Print Label.
- Choose Full Sticker.
- You will now see all the settings applied to the sticker.
- Print the sticker.
For GemCloud stickers, we recommend the Zebra ZD220 (203 dpi) printer, though any label printer can be used, as well as any barcode scanner.
